Friendly and clean, only some dishes disappoint. And there was a lot of TK. The beer garden is very nice
Lovely place at the top of Augsburg
The location is fantastic, but neglected. Drinks good, food not good.
Very tasty dishes, nice garden and very quickly. Prices really reasonable and fair.
I actually love the Lug ins Land. In terms of location, this is the most beautiful beer garden in Augsburg! But the hospitality has unfortunately decreased extremely. Terrible food and the beer is only warm if you are lucky ... SHADE SHADE
Nice beer garden Unfortunately the beer was too warm, the salad plate is a large portion the house dressing too sour for my taste
Food was good, but the order process and the serving of food were not very good. Everything gets mixed up and nobody knows who the food belongs to. Unfortunately mine was forgotten or another guest took it.
Food from the bucket and french fries rickety, beer glasses badly washed, service with moderate rush absolutely overwhelmed and corona measures simply not available. That the health department has not yet intervened is puzzling to me ... How to put such a great location in the sand :(
Never again! No hygiene concept! Everyone was totally overwhelmed and just yelled at each other. Unfortunately we were hungry otherwise we would not have eaten anything. I still have a bad feeling in my stomach today. Long wait, although hardly anything was going on. The waitress slammed the sausage salad from a bucket onto a plate with uncovered hands. Some cheese on top. There wasn't even onions. The tarte flambée was a frozen disaster. Only the location should be mentioned positively. The health department should have a look!
Super nice location. Food rather clear. Russ was dead, the glass still had lipstick on the rim and was otherwise quite rancid.
Nice location! But that was it. The food was a disaster. The potato salad tasted like it came from a 10 kg bucket from the cheapest wholesale market. The roast pork was torn, looked like pulled pork. Not even the fries and the salad were edible. So the whole meal was miserable. There were five of us, two of us had stomach problems afterwards. Therefore the beer garden is only recommended for drinking. You should definitely not eat there.
Anyone who wants to spoil a nice evening in the beer garden who likes warm beer, burnt tarte flambée, potato salad from 10 kg buckets and other ready-made meals is in good hands here. There were 8 people in front of me on the SB, until it was my turn, 25 mvin passed. The bar staff made an overwhelmed and unprofessional impression. The door to the kitchen was open, so you could get an overview of the kitchen and the staff while standing in line. Corona standards completely nil, none Table cleaning and no recording of guest data. I got the impression that the landlords don't care at all. In the end we were happy to have ended the evening without any health problems. Really a shame about the beautifully located beer garden by the city wall.
The only good thing about this beer garden is the location. We queued for beer and chips for over 30 minutes. Hygiene standards were NOT available ... the cashier portioned potato salad, chips and salad with her hands without washing her hands. She has my chips on a used, completely dirty plate !! Served. Everyone else's food was cold. Never again.
Friendly service and cold beer. Unfortunately, my roast pork didn't taste good and I didn't like the lack of the possibility to pay contactlessly with a card.
Beautiful location, a bit off the beaten path in a lovely, quiet corner of the city. Great place to go on a sunny afternoon, but one star off for the food. The value for money and quality just isn't there. Stick to the beer!
Actually a pretty nice place, apart from the inedible food. Currywurst with fries was an accident. Sausage is not properly through with an intense taste of "expired", fries raw and soaked in fat. Anyone who appreciates a crooked table and a warm beer on an empty stomach is in the right place here.
Nice ingrown beer garden. Food could be more and cheaper attached pictures of a snack plate for just under 12 euros. Therefore only 4 stars
Very cozy and very friendly staff. After noting an error in the order, compensation was offered immediately. Excellent!
We were there on the first open day after the easing. I really have to say that I've rarely eaten such bad food. The schnitzel looked like they had been in the fridge since last year. The fries were swimming in their own soup. Carelessly arranged and incredibly disgusting.
Very nice beer garden. We had made a short decision on the way here. Just wanted to drink something. Then they were tempted to eat something. We only had snacks for vespers selected. Service staff was very attentive, preparation went quickly. We could not complain about the taste. Will definitely come back to try the hot dishes.
Beautiful and calm Biergarten
Nice location on the city wall of Augsburg. Beer Thorbräu, so not the best that Augsburg has to bid. Kitchen simple, with ups and downs. The location wins, therefore four stars
The place is worth more οf a 3.5 stars. The location is really one of the best in Augsburg, the view wonderful and overall it's a very romantic place. Parking your car in the area around can be an issue, since it's located on the top of a hill, where some kind of watchtower or a small castle used to be, so the roads around are narrow and moreover the place is popular. The place is a self service. I visited during April and they were only serving beer and cold dishes (on the menu there were also warm dishes but I suppose the serve them during the months when most of the customers visit). The place is affordable from the prices pov. The service hours are a bit elastic meaning on the web site it stated that it was open till 10:00 but they came to our table at 21:00 and told us they are closing. At 21:20 they took our last of our glasses/plates and at 21:30 the put out the lights and left us there!!!!!!!
Loco...
The food is absolutely disappointing considering the really high price. Tarte for 8,50 out of the fridge. It's a joke. Used to be a good and place but now I won't recommend it anymore. Fine for having a beer.
Really nice biergarten
Good taste
OK
A real insider tip for all Augsburg residents. Difficult to get to by car but perfect by bike or tram. Very cozy Bavarian-Swabian beer garden with self-service and free seating. View from the city walls to the MAN.
Love coming here for lunch and drinks. Try the daily special it is always great.
Slow services but high satisfiction. Cheap prices.
Nice hideaway close to the inner city, but yet so far away.
Typical German beergarden, nice menu also offering Bavarian delights for vegetarians, good beer, sweets. Located on parts of the old walls of the city. Cute place.
